Mobi Sites use legacy WAP (wireless application protocol) technology to provide text-based web pages to any Internet enabled phone or PDA.
Sites designed with the mobile user in mind will have functionalities that dove-tail with these devices, GPS for mapping, Click to Call, and Push Button Navigation. Since we know that these current devices are limited in display and speed, any useful mobile site should not be cluttered up with useless graphics. The images that are used need to be optimized for these smaller screen sizes.
